Colors

Blue

Symbolizes the Ocean and Hope. It represents the deep green of the sea, and of the five continents and four oceans. It embodies the mission to spread Martial Arts in all directions.

Yellow

Symbolizes the Royal Path of East Asia, the skin color of the race, representing glorious splendor.

Red

Symbolizes the vibrant and resolute fire of the Vietnamese lineage, enduring throughout more than four thousand years of nation-building.

White

Symbolizes the mystical and formless, symbolizes Bone and Marrow, and the profound and extraordinary depth. It is the color of the Essence of Art and the Expanse of Great Tolerance.

Flag

Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo Flag

The flag's width is 3/5 of its length, and at the center is a Yin-Yang circle. The interaction between the tw o extremes is represented by a map of Vietnam curved in an 'S' shape, symbolizing the dynamics of Mutual Cancellation and Mutual Generation, Life Generation, and Constant Change in the endless flow of life, combining and harmonizing. Encircling the dual symbols is a white circle, representing The Way with the mission of Harmonizing, Restraining, and Tolerating between Yin and Yang to achieve the eternal life of all beings.

Logo & Emblem

Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo Emblem

The emblem consists of a square on the top half and a circle on the bottom half, symbolizing the pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. At the center, there is also a Yin-Yang circle, the map of Vietnam, and a circle representing The Way, carrying the same symbolic meanings as the Flag.
